The Beyond way of delivering Group Training is a little different to other gyms, with the ultimate goal being that you feel a part of our community and getting the results you want.
Our trainers are awesome at creating group classes to cater for any ability or fitness level. This means everyone can operate at their own level without the dreaded feeling of holding others up.
The Group Training utilises small groups (max of 10) so we can provide extra attention to your needs with an emphasis on technique, accountability and results. We utilise a variety of training styles including TRX (suspension training), strength training, high intensity training, boxing, pilates and functional fitness.

Beyond Boxing - Tone up with this fast-paced, high intensity and most importantly fun circuit-based boxing class!
TRX / Strength - Build some serious strength and power! Session includes suspension, free weights and bodyweight resistance training.
Express Class - Short, hard and fast session. Be done and dusted and back at work within the hour!
Functional Fitness - Improve everyday movement patterns. We will focus on squats, presses, pulls, pushes, throws etc.
Pilates - Improve flexibility, build strength, and increase balance and co-ordination all in the comfort of the Beyond Pilates room.
We have chosen these classes as they are fun, exciting, effective and balanced ways of working toward and achieving health and fitness goals.

Partner & Trainer
Dave has had a bee in his bonnet about being fit and active his whole life. After completing his Sport Science Degree he has been working in the fitness industry for the past 10 years helping others achieve goals through personal training, coaching and education.
Dave loves to get involved with clients who have 'BFAG' aka 'Big Fat Audacious Goals' and will often be the one to give his clients that last little nudge they need to take on a challenge.
A lover of all things outdoors, Naomi’s passion for Health and Fitness led her to study at both the University of Waikato and the University of Hawaii where she graduated with a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure and a Bachelor of Management Studies.
Naomi may look sweet and innocent on the outside however with her Personal Training and Pilates qualifications and experience, she will soon have you working hard, holding you accountable and making sure you achieve your goals.
Coralie is the perfect example of a ‘No Excuses’ attitude, she is a Mum, a Wife and an amazing PT and not to mention, she is insanely fit.
Coralie is dedicated, always accepts a challenge and lives life to the full. This attitude to life comes through in her training style with clients and is a true role model for any female client wanting some inspiration.
What do I bring to the sessions?
We provide all the equipment you need for a safe and effective workout. Just bring a drink bottle, a small towel for perspiration and some comfortable sports clothing including some warm outerwear. Please do not forget your medication as required.
What if I miss a session?
It is not ideal missing a session as our classes have limited spaces and will result in someone else missing out. We do realise life gets in the way on the odd occasion, therefore we take every case as it comes.
Are there any changing facilities, showers or toilets? - Yes, we have a shower, toilets and changing facilities at the Beyond Fitness Studio.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes you sure can.. However, certain session times do sell out so please don't be disappointed if we cannot offer a free place. To avoid this we recommend signing up asap.
I am really unfit, can I handle this?
Yes you Can!. Our sessions are designed so that you exercise at your pace and will never be out in a situation where you feel you are holding the group up. We have a variety of fitness levels.
