Cormac

Lead Physio and Director

Cormac landed here from Ireland over 10 years ago with his wife Anna and has never looked back since. Cormac graduated from Cardiff University in the UK and completed a number of years working in the NHS and various sports physiotherapy clinics and clubs, before moving to New Zealand.

Once here Cormac’s aim was to create a physio clinic that allowed its clients and staff to love being in the clinic and allow the physios to easily incorporate exercise into the physio treatment.

Spending as much time as he can at the beach and playing with his two kids in the surf. Cormac can be found in the gym usually talking and laughing with anybody in the clinic.

Cormac loves helping people learn and develop, and hopes to help his patients rehab as best they can but also develop understanding of how they can avoid injuries following and gain confidence to return to activity. Cormac has a special interest in shoulders, necks and running injuries.

Adrianne

Senior Physio and Women’s Pelvic Health Physio

Adrianne has been a Physiotherapist since 2014 graduating from Brighton University and then spend a number of years working in the NHS and New Zealand Physiotherapy Clinics. Adrianne has experience in Competitive Boxing, Rugby, Strength Conditioning and High Level Sports Performance.

You will find her in the gym taking her clients through rehab programs using best evidence and clinical experience. Adrianne is a  Women's Health Physiotherapist with postgraduate qualifications. Adrianne has a particular interest in Women's Pelvic Health and the female athlete, knee rehab and hip injuries.

If you see Adrianne out and about she probably is on her way to the beach or coming back from the beach. Adrianne loves having a surf in the ocean, hanging by the beach or mooching around coffee shops.

Julie

Massage Therapist.

Julie provides both Therapeutic Massage and Deep Tissue Massage depending what a client needs or requests. Julie loves working with her clients to help work through pain points and see them walk out feeling better than they did before. Julie loves to help those who are experiencing pain to work with them through a treatment plan and see them moving freer and happier as they leave.

Charlene Brown-Tungatoa

Physiotherapist and exceptional brownie maker

Charlene (Charlie) started her physiotherapy career with Beyond Physiotherapy after graduating from AUT, Charlie spent 3 years with Beyond and then moved away from the area for a number of years and has now returned with her husband and daughter along side her. Charlie is known for her quick wit and love for her two cats bill and ted. Charlie loves to work with those looking to get back to fitness following injury, running injuries and developed a following from many new to running while working at Beyond.

Charlie has extensive experience with exercise prescription, Pilates, strength conditioning and rehabbing patients back to sport, work or just your daily activities. Charlie is experienced in hands on manual treatments, dry needling, taping, return to sport rehab, post orthopedic rehab and injury management.
